That seems like an odd strategy for a coach, so I think that's probably far-fetched. However, we can test this since Mitchell also received a Tennessee offer today. So if the 'show of support' argument holds, we should be seeing a 'Like' for that Tennessee offer any time now.

Every time someone likes something involving us and hiring them, it doesn't pan out...Dig in, cup up, and brace for it!
Why is that unreasonable? It's a gesture that costs him nothing and could reinforce the idea to the kid that he cares about his success no matter where he winds up.
Not necessarily true. Chester Frazier liked something involving us on Twitter and it panned out.
It is possible. As is an imminent change in his employer. I tried to find any similar "support" for other recruiting offers, but didn't find any. (He "likes" a LOT of stuff on twitter)
Did find one where he liked Coach Frazier's shout out to Merry Ann's Diner about a week ago...
