I wouldn’tI’m taking the field in Randle/Ivey/Anderson or the field.

You're right.Underwood's definition of an assistant that would blow people's minds and yours is vastly different. In the coaching world, Tim Anderson has a very good reputation.
Brad Underwood has never said "The guy we're going to hire will blow your mind." He's the King of Coaching Hyperbole, but there's a difference between "We're taking calls from guys that would blow your mind" vs. "The guy who will be on the sidelines will be mind-blowing." Should he say these things? Maybe not. Does he believe saying these things is good for the program? Sure seems that way. He likes to talk a big game. Maybe we should just let him. You're right.
So you are saying that the delayed timing of things (Whitman's need to address the delay) and Underwood's superlatives (quantity of high quality of candidates) has all led up to Tim Anderson, someone with a "very good" reputation among coaches?
That just doesn't scream "mind-blowing" to me.
I thought the next AC would be elite...
I don't think Brad makes more hyperboles than the average coach to be honest.Brad Underwood has never said "The guy we're going to hire will blow your mind." Now that truly is mind-blowing!
If I’m following this search/thread properly, I think I’ve deciphered who the next AC is....Bernie!

A late entry is 104 year old Loren Tate!I think at this point we should have a BATTLE ROYAL! My Pillow Guy/Iron Sheik/Bernie Sanders/Jeff Sessions/Gov. Pritzer/Lorie Lightfoot/former Gov. Bagorivitch/Rosie O'Donnial/Whoppie Goldberg/Megan McCann and Mr. Bean! Winner gets the job!
Genius move. When the other team scores, they'll actually give the points to IL.

Oh, that would be something.... ! In the legal world, that might be bordering on "an appearance of impropriety", but I suppose it's OK here. Go, baby; me like.Anderson can currently “recruit” these players with no NCAA restrictions. Be their buddy. Put himself in a great spot if they opt out of the draft. Once he signs as an assistant somewhere, he is bound by rules. Pays to wait.
The Thread is dead. Long live the Thread.I can’t wait for this thread to be closed. But I still check it 15-20 times a day.
