I know I am not a frequent poster and have been wrong before, (heard the same things some others were hearing about that situation) but I would be absolutely shocked if it is Randle. As of two weeks ago he had not even been contacted about the job. Have a source on this one. Guessing maybe one of the other NBA guys then? Know nothing about the situation other than Randle's side of it.
Seems like signs are pointing to Anderson right now

This is gonna go way way back, but does anyone else remember when some guy connected to Brian Randle (I think his brother in law maybe?) revealed Randle was committing to Illinois before it was ever announced or leaked anywhere?

Wonder if that guy is still around?
That guy's handle was Thor something (something like Thor_015). His sister was dating Randle. I don't know if Brian ever married her

“Anderson attended and later coached at Crane High School and was an assistant coach in the collegiate ranks at UT-Pan American (now UT-Rio Grande Valley) from 2011-13. Prior to his first stint as a collegiate assistant coach, Anderson led Crane to a resurgence with three IHSA appearances in just three years including two Sweet 16 appearances and one Elite 8 appearance and totaled a head coaching record of 63-24.

Known as one of the top basketball trainers in the nation, most recently he worked with the Nike EYBL's MeanStreets AAU program while also training the nation's top players at the high school, collegiate and professional levels as founder of Ground Zero Training. Six players were selected in the 2017 NBA Draft that worked under Anderson and Ground Zero, and in the last four years a total of 21 NBA selections have prepped for the draft with GZT.

Anderson was a student-athlete at Oklahoma Panhandle State University where was named All-Heartland Conference honorable mention after his senior season. Following graduation in May 2006, he was associate head coach at OPSU for one season before returning to Chicago as an assistant coach at Malcolm X College.”

You're right.

So you are saying that the delayed timing of things (Whitman's need to address the delay) and Underwood's superlatives (quantity of high quality of candidates) has all led up to Tim Anderson, someone with a "very good" reputation among coaches?

That just doesn't scream "mind-blowing" to me.
Well he is hitting .306 and playing short stop for the Sox….that’s mind blowing

Just need to see if this Cal to the NBA rumors come to fruition or not
What does that put into motion if it happens? Does OA then take one of Randle/Ivey/Anderson? I’m lost. Again.
