If his goal is to win a national championship, then he is not staying at Michigan. He will never win it all at Michigan as long as Georgia, Bama (as long as Saban is there) and Ohio State are around.

BTW, got the audiobook version Endzone by John U Bacon on sale to know how enemy thinks...

Boy that book is propaganda on level somewhere between militant A&M Yell Leader and Pravda. Still recommend it if you know what is going into it lol.

Trust and NCAA just don't mesh well

These allegations are coming out the week after they lost and their season is done. If Michigan won last week you can be sure these allegations wouldn't be coming out until after the Championship game. I am real curious at what time period the NCAA found out about this and not the time period they just throw out. It would make for a much easier "investigation" and take less resources if things weren't so sugar coated and delayed.

I think Harbaugh is gone but it would be great if he did stay and a suspension came down after he already stated that is he 100% staying and the NFL jobs are filled up.

This way Michigan can self-impose the punishment of being eliminated from the CFP for this year. The NCAA will see that as ample punishment for minor infractions.

Who knows, they may have even ended the season with a couple open scholarship spots they can accept as punishment. That might seem excessive so they could be granted an extra one next year (if needed).

Kevin Warren will expend whatever effort and resources necessary to make sure of it.
While I hate Michigan, doesn’t a conference want their commissioner to do their best to protect the conference brand, and by extension the brand of the individual teams?

While that's true, something tells me that the effort from the likes of a Kevin Warren would be slightly different if this involved an Illinois or a Rutgers. Just a hunch.

Tempest in a tea pot. No need to get ourselves worked up about it.

It's pretty clear Harbaugh will not be in Michigan next year, so when he leaves, who would we have room for and be able to land?

Jyaire Hill
Frederick Moore
Deakon Tonielli
Roderick Pierce
Brooks Bahr
None
None is my guess unless they really screw up the new hire. Always an opportunity tho.

Harbaugh wants it both ways. If you will be at Michigan next year just say I will be at Michigan next year.

"I expect to be at Michigan" is like when you apply for a different job and don't tell your boss but they already know.

It's not a secret you're interviewing dude.
