Probably right. They have been "working on this" for a long, long time. Don't understand what is holding it up at this point if it isn't about keeping the class together until JH bolts in January.

MSU hires Joe Rossi (DC) away from Minnesota.
I don’t know much about him other than he played at Oregon St as well as was an assistant there. Not surprisingly his name came up prior to Jonathan Smith being hired and after he left. Didn’t seem there was much support for him either time on the fan forum I use. Not exactly sure why though.

He agreed to a reduced buyout ($15 mil instead of $20 mil) when he was fired. I’m guessing that $5 mil that IU saved allows Allen to keep his payday while he coaches against the Hoosiers.
