I'm guessing you're not going to get any specifics here such as "he recommended and helped implement a key defensive strategy that directly resulted in winning game X". Bret feels comfortable having him as part of his staff. Might as well leave it at that.
If anything, I would want him pre-scouting our next opponent and making suggestions on how to attack. Ahen then gets the benefit of that information when he is formulating his plan for the week also helps a young DC grow while giving him support in an he isn't 100% comfortable with from what we saw last year.

Not as far as I know. Only a certain number of staff are allowed to do that officially and JL isn't one of them being an analyst
yea, the rule is meant to stop schools from inviting all current monied boosters along past grid iron superstars and NFL vets from holding "re-unions" on campus , in a room adjacent to that weekend's recruiting efforts

Jerry Kill announced today he is stepping down at New Mexico State. WR coach Tony Sanchez, who formerly coached at UNLV, has been named the new head coach.
I wonder if he had already decided to quit when he had that post game rant.

One constant of his HC stops is that he always leaves suddenly due to health concerns.

If Vrabel ends up anywhere, it's back in New England.

I was told by multiple NFL people (scouts, GMs, etc.) that they think this is how it's gonna go ...

If Ed Dodds gets the Raiders GM job ... I have been told that is Harbaugh's preference ...

Let's assume Dodds doesn't for now ...

Here is what I have heard from many sources is a likely scenario:

Raiders stick with Antonio Pierce ...

Chargers hire Jim Harbaugh ...

New England hires Vrabel ...

New England trades Belichick to the Washington Commanders ...

Atlanta hires Ben Johnson and they bring Justin Fields back home to play QB ...

Carolina hires Bobby Slowik ...
