I've said this before, but I'll say it again: If I'm a Purdue football fan, I'm getting nervous about how small Walters network appears to be. If he can't broaden his connections, and quickly, then he's completely out of his depth as the head coach of a P5 program, and it will be extremely difficult for him to be successful there.

I am really surprised he doesn't have many or any connections to pull from his time at Mizzou or previous stops. Like he's been a DC at multiple schools he should be better connected.

Shouldn't have any problems filling out his staff with B1G money... if he isn't reaching outside his known network that's just him not doing his homework. His hires have been mostly fine I think... and he knows Buh.

Eventually Walter's going to run out of Illini coaches and players that he had ties with. Then what will he do?

Time for me to eat crow on Harbaugh. If UM keeps Moore, I think it will be a long-term mistake.
