I must say, if I was on the coaching staff, I would be stealth-popping into IL on the regular…Do the coaches actually take some curious interest in what fans say/share on this forum?
Without Farrah there wouldn't have been a Cheryl
Illini basketball has been known to age people.Totally weird thought, but Brad looks so young here.
Exhibit A on why female posters might be hesitant to reveal they are female.not him???

That answer for everybody is Pru.Okay, so can you tell us Underwood's favorite poster?
I am going to go a bit off the wall here and chime in with the Ginger vs Mary Ann debate before it starts. Mrs. Howell

None of Kofi's points should have counted unless he punched a ref afterMy guess is that BU’s favorite poster looks something like this one:

I’ll defer to insiders here, but it’s entirely possible Brad was never necessarily “itching” to leave Illinois and this IS - at least in some meaningful sense - his dream job. He might just be a guy (or his agent or both of them or whatever) that feels he always needs to make sure he’s getting paid what he feels he’s worth … he DID become a coach quite late.I think they were put to bed weeks ago.
Don't get me wrong, I really like BU and am very happy to have him as our coach. That said, this "making sure" should take this long: 1) I am paid in the top 10-20 coaches in the country 2) I have made it to the second weekend of the NCAA tournament zero times. Conclusion: I'm paid what I'm worth (or better)I’ll defer to insiders here, but it’s entirely possible Brad was never necessarily “itching” to leave Illinois and this IS - at least in some meaningful sense - his dream job. He’s the 8th highest paid in country but yes your point still standsDon't get me wrong, I really like BU and am very happy to have him as our coach. Seems he was puttering around with a girlfriend on the side for a number of years too. His own NL so to speak.D
No, he was a D-I head coach for two years
before getting the Badgers job. (He was at Milwaukee D-1 for 2 yrs.)
I guess you’re right if you wanna count UW-Platteville? That’s a DIII school. He was there for 15 years.
He was puttering around for 27 years before he got his first D-I head job. (Milwaukee)…2 high schools for short stints…a small college…& an assistant with the Badgers for almost a decade…and 15 at Platteville
