what was the issue here with his eligibility?
It looks like he was wanting a redshirt and a medical redshirt--so an extra year. He claimed injury in one year that he did not play. Plus he wanted a regular redshirt for one which he played 4 games.
I just hate how the NCAA is so subjective in how they grant hardships . if he only played 4 games one year (regular redshirt) and was totally conjured for another year, I don’t have a problem with him reclassifying the official terminology. I guess as long as he didn’t play more than 4 games in a given year , 6 years to play 4 was not that rare for many players if they were hurt one whole season and didn’t play at all
