Wouldn't that be more on the call screener than Bernstein then?
I think the screen was his producer? Not sure how that works on radio. But he sure did make it sound like they weren't ever going to talk about anything negative towards Northwestern on the show. To say something is "in the past" and can't be discussed is the worst response I can think of - like getting caught in a lie, and using 2nd grade logic. I even asked him, "Isn't everything is the past?"

Yeah that sounds like more of an issue with whoever the executive producer was at the time.

they (the on air talent and producer) are 99% of the time on the same page

if NW games were on the Score at that time, that is all you need to know. if they werent , its because Bernstein and the producer/screener agreed in advance that topic was not to be discussed
