I'm normally not one to believe in curses or superstition, but it's eerie how this happens with Harry Kane. Even though he played well this year for Bayern, we know what happened with results. We'll see what happens with England this summer, as I feel like England has as good of a chance as anyone to win the Euros (there is not a clear favorite in the Euros - I'd probably pick France just because of their recent track record, but England is as talented as anyone). The biggest problem that Bayern has is the stain of Spursiness sticking with Harry Kane. They finished 3rd in the Bundesliga table this season behind Leverkusen and Stuttgart. They haven't finished that "low" in the table since 2010-11.
I'm personally in the camp that Kompany could be a home run hire for Bayern. Tuchel was never a good stylistic fit for them - he's closer to Mourinho than he is Pep or Klopp on the spectrum of "negative/defensive" to "front foot/attacking" soccer. If nothing else, Bayern will be entertaining to watch. Most games could be 5-3, but just not sure on which side Bayern will be for those matches.
