50m pounds for mustafi now?

i think i'm ready for a new manager next year.

I'm seeing 43M pounds to trigger his release clause. Valencia knows they have the Gunners over a barrel, so no way are they going to agree to a reduction. Wegner is going to have to pay up.

Yes, new manager. New owner too, but that's wishful thinking.

Deandre Yedlin going on loan to Newcastle. I was hoping he would stay in the Premier League but as long as he is getting on the field that is most important. Hopefully he can help them get back up.

And another American, Lynden Gooch, is doing very well at Sunderland. It sounds like he is quickly becoming a fan favorite with his energy and effort.

It's not finalized yet, and it won't be a loan. Assuming he passes his medical, the rumored transfer fee is £5 million.

Yeah, it's make or break time for Wegner. Going to be a flurry of activity (league wide), for sure. Will be very interesting to see who adds what.

it may be arsenal's easiest group in a long time

Yeah - hopefully the teams can take advantage of it. The league is still in jeopardy of losing the 4th CL spot, so racking up some early wins will help.

I don't think Spurs' group is that easy. They are definitely the favorite and there is no other elite team, but there is also no easy 3 points in that group. I think Arsenal has the easier group. Still expect Spurs to make it out, but I wouldn't be completely shocked if they don't.

While it's not easy, it's about the best they could have hoped for being in Pot 3. After the first 2 pots were allocated, they had a 33% chance to be the 3rd team in Group F, which would have seen them going up against Real Madrid & Dortmund. Thankfully, Sporting beat them to that prize.

Bundesliga and La Liga start today. Tons of football on TV. Glorious! Thinking about picking up BeIN Sports. Worth it?

lots of tough group matchups:
- Group C with Barcelona/Manchester City
- Group D with Bayern Munich/Atletico Madrid
- Group F with Real Madrid/Dortmund

i think with gladbach in there, group c might be the toughest group

Looks like Arsenal's finally striking. Mustafi and Lucas Perez flying in for medicals.

bayern up 2-0 early. julian green is on the bench so hopefully he'll get a run out.

#168
Brutal loss for Hull. Hey, look, Eden Hazard! Guess he's back. Good wins for the Toffees and Foxes. Big adds finalized for Arsenal.

Not EPL, but Bobby Wood had a great goal for Hamburg yesterday. Wood had 17 goals in the 2nd division last season. Will be interesting to see how he fares in the 1st division.

Think he's going to be up top for the USMNT for quite awhile. And that's a very good thing.

Rumors about Pulisic transferring to Liverpool. Baloney or for real?

#170
I don't see it happening (Pulisic to Liverpool) but I would love to root for him! Would also love it if the James Rodrigues to Liverpool rumors were true too! (Though, still waiting on a left back signing!

#171
Looks like Madrid are blocking any sale of Rodriguez. Spurs are lining up a loan deal for Isco. I'm trying not to get too excited, but the move makes sense for all parties. Plus, Madrid still owe us for Bale and Modric.

#173
Transfer window closes tomorrow. Should be interesting.

#174
Do players have to be loaned out before the deadline? Or can loans be made any time? 2 Americans, Zelalem and Miazga, still need to be loaned out. And maybe Pulisic too.

#175
Aguero gets a 3 game suspension for elbowing Winston Reid. That means he will miss the Manchester Derby. I'm guessing Nolito starts?
