LaPhonso Ellis claimed that Illinois offered him $5,000 per year to play, but he decided to go to ND. So, we have to assume ND offered him more, but then no one investigated ND.

I have avoided reading this thread for that very reason....firmly burying my head in the sand. After abusing my mizzery fan friends, I am hearing it because of Ok St being one of the schools. Even the Chevy Blazer jokes have been resurrected.

I can only hope and pray BU is clean.....:pray:

Over under on high major programs that see head coaching changes out of this? I'll start it at 5. 1 already and am thinking AZ and Miami are coming eventually. Just wild speculation based on what we know so far.

I would take the over at 6 Head Coaches and at least 15 assistants. Two shoe companies and a least one College President will fall

Even if he was, if he were smart....I know, I know, he would wait for some dust to settle, there will be more jobs opening.

First ever post here and I want to say upfront I know nothing on the how's and why's of recruiting. Now there was 7 of us today talking about this today and it grew to 12 people. So we all came to the same thing something needs to be done about this crap. And we 12 all agree with the below.
1- If any shoe ,clothing and ect company, is caught paying players any amount of money or giving anything they should be banned for life from high school up threw college , they lose ALL contracts AND can not run ads on tv for 10 years- pros they can do but no ads. Schools can choose another company.
2- If any coach gets caught 1 time they are banned for life for giving any bribes money ect . Only coach over seas or pros
3-Any player that gets money or gifts will not play at all in 4 years anywhere in college. go overseas or go pro.
4- Any family member gets a kick back and kid does not know - money car what ever The family members are banner from seeing them live at anytime while in school[college] Now if the kid knew he/she will not play 4 years anywhere.
Now we all [12] like sports , football, basketball and so on. We all are tired of the bull crap in sports. Do not tell me they need the money or they need it to feed the rest-- that is a cop out and that will not float. We all are from a small farm town and we all had hard times and I would not take money if I knew it was wrong even if I needed it.
