Would that be the “Chief Illiniwek Matters” protest? It's good to see that no dumpsters were harmed. The stadium is keeping it a 'peaceful' protest. For now.
And where were you, Mr. Nightman, at approximately 9:00 pm last night, the 3rd of October, in the year 2023? Do you have any witnesses that can corroborate your story? Seems awfully suspicious . . .And who took my obsessive and repetitive posts about how much I hate the Horseshoe and let themselves be radicalized?!

Yeah, gotta say, your posts jumped to mind immediately, lol. Wants the Horseshoe burned to the ground? Check. Optimistic about not losing to Nebraska on Friday? Check. Crazy enough to do it? Well he posts on an Illini message board, so Check. Couldn't finish the job? Check, that tracks for the Illini (sharp breath). And who took my obsessive and repetitive posts about how much I hate the Horseshoe and let themselves be radicalized?!
Haha, I wish the accusation that I was optimistic about Friday were true.Yeah, gotta say, your posts jumped to mind immediately, lol. Wants the Horseshoe burned to the ground? Check. You've gotta be the prime suspect at this point. Juries have certainly convicted on less...

34 years ago on October 12. Police should check the whereabouts of those 3 guys. Maybe this was close as they could get to the anniversary. The fencing team collectively exhales.

Remember that one well. The early Sunday morning after we beat Utah State. Fortunately, we had a bye week so two weeks before the next home game. IIRC the DIA had to replace a massive portion of the field. Wish I could find a photo. Because of the wind (from the northeast, which is unusual) the fire created a V-shaped plume about 30-40 yards long diagonally from the NEZ toward the home sideline. The fencing team collectively exhales.

If any, it's likely in stolen goods.I wonder how much fencing they are doing these days.

This is the classic Illini fan paradox ... many here will expect a loss but then go ballistic if/when it happens as if it is a totally unexpected and unacceptable surprise, haha. I guess actually sitting through the four quarters of a deflating loss can never truly be "prepared for."If we lose to Nebraska, the board is going to erupt into flames.
I think you are undercounting the contingent of long-time fans like myself who simply refuse to get their hopes up and treat any win like a nice surprise. This is the classic Illini fan paradox ... many here will expect a loss but then go ballistic if/when it happens as if it is a totally unexpected and unacceptable surprise, haha. Meanwhile, if we look better and win, I fear the fans (especially the casual fans who help to get our attendance into the 50k+ range) will not buy back in unless we beat Maryland, as well ... and that's a tall order.
I’m in that same continent.I think you are undercounting the contingent of long-time fans like myself who simply refuse to get their hopes up and treat any win like a nice surprise.
Much better than being incontinent.I’m in that same continent.
