I’m a huge Feagin fan but I have to agree here … I think the injuries have taken a toll …

He has speed but he needs to commit n go. I remember big guys starting from deeper with the qb under center and I heard Jay Leman say that too when it comes to Feagin. I agree that starting deeper from the I may help him a lot. Stutter steps are not his thing.

If you listen to the experts, you have to wait until later in the season until he finds his grove. Then he'll find his burst.

Feagen is just too damn big. Look at him in the backfield compared to Luke. He’s huge no wonder he can’t hit the hole.

Even when he gets three yards past the line with no contact he dies as soon as he gets hit and also doesn’t try to run through anyone.

I think he was short 2-3 yards.
