I agreed. But as Dakich said talking about Underwood saying Ayo is the best player in the country “when he’s locked in”— that qualifier takes him out of the running. when are we going to stop talking about uninspired play and lighting fires with this team?

There continues to be many questions about BU and this staff. Still not convinced he can motivate elite players. No way the team we have with the talent we have should be playing this up and down. Something is not right.

You shouldn't have to motivate elite players or they're not elite. Elite players motivate not only themselves, but those around them. This isn't an Underwood issue. It's a leadership issue. This is high D I college basketball. If guys need the coaches to throw a hissy fit to get energized...you have a roster issue.

Who is the leader of the program? Is he not responsible for cultivating player leaders? This is the most talented roster he's had here at IL -according to his own words. Why no consistency? Why do we play up/down to the competition? Are Ayo and Kofi not elite players? They are both in the final 20 Wooden Watch. When is it the right time to hold BU accountable for the team's play? We've all seen what they are capable of, even this week.

Cmon guys. Adam Miller is playing fine and taking the shots he’s supposed to take. The difference here is a couple missed layups for us and some second chances for them

Let's face it. We're not there yet. We've yet to show that we have that killer mentality that just wants to stomp whomever it is is, whenever. As others have said, we play up, we play down, we play one half, rarely two. Is that on the players, the coach, the beet juice, the lack of Luther Head's walk-on fund, who knows?
