The only concern I have for the rear end chewing like that is potential recruits getting the wrong idea...or being scared. ;) That said, would far rather see that than just a calm coach that lets poor play ride.

Kipper could be the best player on our team if he did everything with just a little more focus and a little more effort. He throws lazy passes, throws up lazy shots, shuffles his feet when he gets the ball, and has now found a way to brick a wide-open dunk attempt.

Agreed! I think that's why Underwood is so hard on him. If Kipper ever figures out how to use his strength, he could be a very very good player.

While I don't necessarily agree with you on this point, I do think that only certain types of players respond well to being yelled at/berated. Very few of the current players seem capable of responding well to that type of coaching. Therefore, I don't think Underwood's stints of anger on the sideline are helping this team at all.
