The problem is that this is a pattern with this team. MSU probably won’t even make the tournament. We pull this stunt in the one and done March Madness against the wrong 9 seed and it’s get back on the bus to CU, boys.
My recollection is that the initial MSU 10-0 run began before that substitution. I think it went south before that. Of course, I got depressed when we missed that first free throw. Hopefully we start better in the second half.
To a point, I agree, but to a point, their effort hasn't been this visibly bad all year. Getting beat down the floor over and over and over......it was going to catch up with them. We'll see about the second half, I hope you're right. That was hard to watch.
But Kofi did not play great D when he was in. He is not challenging shots. He has to do that.
Good observation. We started 5-0, was 5-2, he puts Curbelo in-the next 4 possessions were: 2 TO's, missed shot, and loses his man twice for buckets. In less than 2 minutes Curbelo cost us as much as 8 points before Brad gets him out of the game. Score was 10-5 by then.
