Almost like an elimination game.

Michigan is not that good, and we were riding high after the line-up change a couple games ago. Had that been a turning point, I'd like our chances in this game.

That said, the way we've played against Maryland and Purdue, I don't like our chances. Given how unlikely we are to steal a game against the top half of the league, we can't afford to lose this one. We have six home games remaining, and one of those is Wiscy, which I think is a loss. If we win all the other home games (unlikely, honestly), we're only at 7 wins, and Rutgers would get us to 8-10. It's just really hard to see a path without getting a winnable road game like this.

UI and UM are both bottom of the barrel B10 teams this season. This game merely helps decide which team finishes closer to 10th place or 13th place in the B10.

This is where I am, too.

I see the Wisky game as the inflection point. If we are 5-5 after that game I think we are playing well enough to finish 6-2. If we are 4-6, I am very worried. Would rather Wisky not be the must win game.

From reading Michigan boards, I think we can win this one. Michigan just isn't deep.

Mark Donnal has been told he won't be back for a fifth year and has apparently "checked out." Derrick Walton got hurt in the Wisconsin game. If he cannot go full strength, they really have only five players left. Of course, Xavier Simpson could have a career game as a result...
