I'll be there in orange! Let's get off to a good start and I think it will a good game.
In reply to TalktoChuck in the pregame thread, I also think we cover +10. In fact, I’ve come to the conclusion that I will be betting the Illini all season when we are underdogs. This way, a win is great as always, but hopefully some of the losses can still be enjoyable as well.
In a way, this works without money too (not as well), in that you can take some satisfaction in beating expectations while we rebuild to a level where we consistently beat opposing teams.

Checking in from the Pacific Northwest; just now getting daylight, time for a little 9 am PT Illini ball. Muck Fichigan.
Sooner or later all the pieces are going to fall into place for BU. We all see flashes of it. Given what he has to work with, I'm very impressed with things like our offensive rebounding and the pace of the offense. Very impressed with the defense overall.
If anyone on this team could regularly just shoot the ball or regularly just create off the dribble we'd be a force to contend with.

Okay time to come clean, have been growing the beard since basketball season started and have decided I cannot take the blame for the weak non conference schedule wins due to the weak/early growth.
