In reply to TalktoChuck in the pregame thread, I also think we cover +10. In fact, I’ve come to the conclusion that I will be betting the Illini all season when we are underdogs. This way, a win is great as always, but hopefully some of the losses can still be enjoyable as well.

In a way, this works without money too (not as well), in that you can take some satisfaction in beating expectations while we rebuild to a level where we consistently beat opposing teams.

Glass half full today.

Also, Muck Fichigan. Like really. Muck them hard.

Checking in from the Pacific Northwest; just now getting daylight, time for a little 9 am PT Illini ball. Muck Fichigan.

Sooner or later all the pieces are going to fall into place for BU. We all see flashes of it. Given what he has to work with, I'm very impressed with things like our offensive rebounding and the pace of the offense. Very impressed with the defense overall.

If anyone on this team could regularly just shoot the ball or regularly just create off the dribble we'd be a force to contend with.

Checking out the scene before the Maui invitational next year. Got the roku ready with BTN. Definitely think we cover and possibly win this one.

Okay time to come clean, have been growing the beard since basketball season started and have decided I cannot take the blame for the weak non conference schedule wins due to the weak/early growth.

Since that time the beard came in strong and obviously jinxed us and I take full blame for the early B1G conference goose-egg....OFF it came today and OFF the schnide we will be after today! GO ILLINI, you are all welcome, if this doesn't work, my apologies and I will grow back ASAP!

Man would have thought Williams would start for sure, guess BU likes his energy off bench...doesn't really matter he got 28 min last game so....:chief:

Xavier Simpson we were in on as I recall.

Making plays so far, but the drive against Trent he got away with a straight arm.
