Illinois is up at half. I ask you this question: do you have any confidence whatsoever that they will win this ballgame?

Overall, very good half of basketball. Were able to play through when the officials felt the need to totally switch the whistles, actually lost the lead and ended the half getting it back.

Game in and game out we continue to get more and more glimpses of what a BU team will look like when it all comes together.

Why is Lucas in the game in last minutes of half ? Cannot hit pressure free throws.

Probably trying to make sure that Trent doesn't pick up cheap foul at the end of the half. I'd rather take a chance on Lucas getting his 3rd foul before half and let Trent start the 2nd half with 2 fouls.

We only have 5 players with 2 fouls...:)

Yes. If any of our previous games are an indication, once we figure out how to play two consistent halves, we are going to beat people. Consistently.

Second half, better find Robinson and weak side defense can't hedge so far you give up dunks.

I'm pleased with how we've defended. Especially notable is our interior D. Have pretty much neutralized Moe Wagner - who I thought would be a big problem for us. But we've basically shown him that he can't Mochengladbach the Fighting Illini's Weisbaden.

I can honestly not remember any Illini team that was such a yo-yo. Up and down good plays/bad plays. Only half we have had of solid good play was against MizNoz.

Yeah, we had three steals where we were immediately gave the ball back. That hurts.

Maybe we should contact whiny Pitino and see how much it would cost to practice at Minny for 2 days before every game moving forward?

By far the best overall team half yet this year....now get Leron going and continue to cut back door and pressure, off the schnide!

This start to the BIG schedule with 5/7 on the road and so far to this point playing right there with everyone has the makings of a very dangerous team come February-March as the schedule begins to even out.

Sure would be nice to find a way to get a few of these road games were right there in.

Xavier Simpson we were in on as I recall.

Making plays so far, but the drive against Trent he got away with a straight arm.

Simpson is no better shot than Lucas, hell TeJon might be better, he looks like a Walton Jr type of player without the scoring ability though.

It's a shame Smith picked up two stupid fouls in like a 2 minute stretch early in the half. He came out playing with a lot of conviction. Michigan is not nearly as physical or effective protecting the paint as Minnesota, and I feel like Smith could have really bodied some of Michigan guards taking it to rim.
