This will be my last time to see Juwan coach against the beloved. Return game is on Peacock.

I expect the Coach Juwan experiment will be ended at the conclusion of the season.

Not a great feeling about tonight.
Wolverines 68
Illini 65

I had a similar feeling going into the MSU game, so hope it turns out opposite my feelings.
I had a good feeling going into MSU, not Maryland. Now I’m just highly concerned our confidence is gone

Edit: so let’s hope the boys show the courage I think they have and get another ROAD KILL

Think Vegas is overrated Michigan's win against a bad OSU team (Michigan has been brutal this season...but OSU looks pretty bad lately) and Illinois' loss to Maryland. We win by 8-9, if not more.

Need to guard the 3 point line. Our defensive matchups will be key. If we have Rodgers chasing their guards around the court they’re going to hit 3s. May need an early sub for Harmon if that happens.

I finally peeked at the Vegas odds. I'm shocked -- we're favored by only 2 pts?

74 - ILL
67 - MICH

This Hansberry situation is concerning. Too young for back issues like this.

In general... anyone who plays a great deal of roundball is always vulnerable to...

Knee injuries.

Knees just wearing out.

Back injuries.

Foot and ankle injuries.

Or all of the above.

There is so much pressure and pounding that goes on there that the regular human body is just not designed to take all that for too very long. Of course with us humans being different our length of playing time before wearing down will vary.

And the style of play one has greatly matters, too. Guys who do a lot of slashing and quick-starts-and-stops will put additional pressure on those problem areas more than guys who just find their spot on the floor and wait for a pass and hoist away.

And of course, genetics and family physiology history gets involved

It’s amazing how long some guys can play at a high level. Of course, we don’t see them later in life when they are long retired and hunched over in the living room couch with a heating pad and then slowly easing their way toward the kitchen to get some ice to put on their knees.

All forms of sport are beautiful. But the toll they take on the body is the price paid for having a skill that thrills millions but wears you down.

This one gives me a stomach ache. Seeing our guys, as currently made up, playing at a high level for forty minutes in road game.....it would be welcomed.
With all the off court stuff, I’m awfully nervous for the guys. Hope they can stay focused but I agree. This one has me nervous. It’s a must-win if we want a shot at the B1G title.
