This is why Lovie needs to go. We are just undisciplined. Three stupid penalties that have hurt us
I agree with you, but laugh at the thought that THIS is the reason. :)

If THIS stands for player growth, continuity on the field, coach staff decisions, game-planning, in game recognition, half-time/real-time adjustments, clock management, defensive creativity or offensive ANYTHING ... then I agree even more.

There's not a big enough THIS to encompass Lovie's game prep or game time shortcomings.

Nice to run 24 seconds off the clock --- in order to give our overworked/undermanned defense a little rest on the sideline.

Illinois fired Gary Moeller after 3 seasons when it was apparent the team was non-competitive and not progressing. Illinois defeated Northwestern to end the season in Moeller’s final game as the Illini head coach.

Well, THIS could be an acronym for Total History Involving Smith

Things could actually be worse. I just walked outside in the 65 degree temps to grab the mail. As I walk back in, they're showing an ILLINI couple sitting side-by-side (alone) in the stands, dressed in orange/blue ---- with sleet/snow building on their face coverings.

This is even more pathetic than last year. Honestly this is a summation of the smith era. Uncompetitive in all but maybe 1 or 2 games a year.
