With Spoon's interception, the Illini defense is now tied for the most team interceptions in NCAA Football - 18 INT's (tied with USC). I can remember years when the defense got 3 INT's all year. Thankful for this defense.

Not ignoring the scheme and play calling, but it sure seems like the OL has taken a massive step backwards the last month.

We are not looking sharp today at all. Coaching staff has to step up and help BB out with his unfortunate two week tough period. We look totally unprepared, sorry to say. Lucky to be up 10-0, but it should be at least 14-0. This is a bad NW defense and we are struggling to score on them. Continue to be very concerned with Lunney and his game prep and adjustments (lack of).
