To me it doesn't matter. Not sure this team needs Sky to play injured....but Harris needs to stay on the court. Now the best offensive and defensive Illini are watching from the bench.

We are on a 10-3 run to open the second half.............Sounds like some adjustments were made at halftime........

seems like some Illini are playing with a lot of effort..........seems like some are not .........play the one's with the effort until they need a break.....

Good start offensively to second half....but we all know this team could fail to score the rest of the game.

In the 80s it was easy to go watch practice or scrimmages

That’s not as crazy as it sounds…
Podz certainly exhibited underclassman deficiencies on defense-no doubt…as does Skyy. BUT…
They did actually recruit Podz in the first place, correct? I presume they thought they could get him coached up on defense enough to at least be a serviceable back-up. Right? Podz at least has an extra year of experience that Skyy doesn’t have.

You don’t think we could have used his shooting? Don’t kid yourself, Podz could have given us some quality minutes here and there; and he would have more than likely ended up hitting some big shots for us too. (The trouble is, apparently he wanted to be the top dog; like everybody else in the world beside Trent Frazier and a handful of others.)

Pods is excelling out in Cali…albeit on a smaller stage.
