Happy birthday Pru! Continue to show the youngsters how to handle it. And to the folks who wish they were still middle aged, and being older than even Pru, I have to note I enjoy lower expectations, a greater ability to tell folks what I think about a variety of things, and when I don’t feel like doing something I can simply say “I’m not doing it.” For those of us with active minds, this is the best of times. Now if we can only beat Purdue, I have a few Boilermaker friends I want to be able to express myself to. Go Illini!

Drove 700 miles with my Illini brother @Retro62 from DC to The Beef House on Friday for a 7 pm reservation to fortify ourselves for victory this afternoon. Stopped on the way at the gym where the movie Hoosiers was filmed.

We have paid homage and given tribute. The Illini must now proceed to victory. It is so decreed. Let it be done. :illinois:

Any word on Reggie Love yet? Wonder how things will be split in the backfield if he is out.

This game worries me greatly, but I’m expecting a productive ground game that develops in the second half, carrying us to a convincing victory.

Just shut up grandson....I'm listening to the radio feed of my Fighting Illini FB.....Nothing else matters right now......
It really really doesn't............

I refuse to feed the media monster and subscribe to Peacock , so I will be listening intently to the radio feed and watching the gametracker also intently...............I refuse to participate in this game thread after kickoff per my usual game day activity........Funny to not see the action but I made my stand and will not surrender my position.......................

We just all paid $7 to have a c*ck shoved in front of our faces. Least Illinois can do for us is administer the beating so we don't feel any shame in the morning.

Get it done today, boys! I-L-L!

It’s going to be VERY interesting to watch the McCray, Feagin, Laughery combo today. I’d love to see Laughery break a long run.
Tbh, I feel they will run well IF Oline travels and plays well. It’s all about our two lines today.

The Boilermakers are there for the taking. If the Illini can get some more improvement from their offensive line, win or tie the turnover battle, and refrain from stupid penalties (especially those that occur after the whistle), I believe this is a good chance to show we can compete for a Big Ten West title and get this season moving on a positive trajectory. Go Orange and Blue.

Hope we show improvement.

I did pay for Peacock. $6 is less than a combo meal at Wendys. Plus I really want to see if Michigan State can beat Iowa which is next game today on Peacock.

I have been hearing Iowa fans say they will score over 30 today.
