I hate the end of basketball games, now that I know the Elam ending exists.

The first couple times CoHawk tries to take Edey off the dribble will tell a lot about how they are going to call this one.
Also gonna show a lot about what our offense is going to look like. Need to pull Edey out of the paint to open up the floor. CH should be able to work ZE all night with the speed advantage.

I don't really know why Edey would ever foul. He should just reach for the lights always on shot attempts. Which I think he does a pretty good job at.

2024 vs 1989 Comparison:

S. Bardo / T. Rodgers - Not your prototypical PG's. Low turnovers. Deliberate. Sneaky good. Barely average shooters.
L. Hamilton / C. Hawkins - Complimentary big men playing the 5. Not huge scorers. Good and steady offensive players.
N. Anderson / Q. Guerrier - Mega power forwards. Men playing amongst boys. Could probably score 18-19 ppg on other squads.
K. Gill / TSJ - Best guard and offensive players. Best outside scorers. Both unable to play for majority of the Big 10 season.
K. Battle / M. Domask - Highly skilled offensive players. Ability to create own shot.

E. Small / D. Dainja - Top 8 in rotation. Untapped potential.
L. Smith / J. Harmon - Really solid small guards off the bench. Dependable and capable. Ability to score, as needed.
M. Liberty / L. Goode - Stepped into starter's role, as star player became sidelined. Ability to start on most Big 10 teams.

Apparently they will just do the same 30 second bit about Hawkins/Edey that they did at halftime.

Well done, FS1.

I may be partial, due to age, but I got 89 winning 4-3-1. I got a tie for Bardo and Rodgers, which I would not have guessed 2 months ago.
