We can talk about great defense but my God TN isn’t letting us drive AT ALL. They’ve shut us down inside
Hawkins is such an enigma! Sign of a good team to find ways to beat people when you aren’t playing well though. We have a lot of guys who show a willingness to step up.

Excellent half. TN did a good job of forcing 3's, which is why there are 20. That's obviously too many. But they were also forced into a lot of long 3's and tough 2's.

I agree with BU comments that we started getting good 3s. With a two or 3 poor ones by Hawk (one of which went in) i am fine with the quality looks that are getting when Domask or Coleman are doubled.

We have gotten some shooting foul calls and made almost all of our FTs. That really helps. Really proud of Ty at the line in this game.
Based on how the 2 teams have played thus far, a 2pt lead at half is a phenomenal outcome. Getting them in foul trouble and being more physical on defense and on the boards was a huge part of that. We need to punish them this 2nd half. Keep pounding them and force them to foul. Don't settle for bad threes
I’m OK with shooting threes if we’re playing the #2 defense in the country on the road and it’s all we’re able to get. I’m not OK with 20 threes in a half against Western Illinois and Valparaiso.

Great half overall. Way to clamp down on defensive end and boards. Just gotta move on offense. Driving from 25 feet out and getting a clean lay up ain’t happening
