Wow. Interesting ending.
Refs knock Redbirds out. So much for the dream matchup of the Battle of US Route 150 for this year.
Wow. Interesting ending.
That is LaPhonso Ellis, an Illinois native (who is reprehensible-check your Illini history) who went to Notre Dame, talking about Cuonzo Martin, an Illinois native, who went to Purdue, about getting the state of Illinois talent to go to Illinois. Ugh.
Weren't they (Ellis & Cuonzo) teammates at ESL Lincoln ?
What a clueless tool. Still hate him 30 years later.

Yes. This is a personal thing, don't worry about it.
I'm not worried about what he said. I'm ecstatic to have Underwood, but those comments are completely unprofessional. I don't like the negative national conversation (even if that is the only place it's happened. It's still on ESPN and other people watching to see the coach introduced won't know the personal connection).

Try Kipper.
Oh it was totally unprofessional. I understand he is supporting his childhood buddy but no reason to deride Illinois. Oh well, it is not like he is someone people take too seriously.
He clearly wasn't watching the game for a few seconds Haha.
