That was a solid quick twitch fake that broke a moc's ankles and Chase was on his way......

I really want Chase to break 2,000 yards rushing this year,....he can do it .....................

Walters and Lunney are both destined for and deserve head coaching jobs. Would love if we could hold onto them for another year or two. Man is it great having one of the best coaching staffs in the Big 10, and maybe the country. Both our football and basketball programs are in great hands finally for as long as I can remember.

Going to be plenty of snaps for the second (and third!) unit tonight. Does BB give Chase the first possession of the second half to break 100 yards? I get the PR but I lean towards sitting him the rest of the way.

I think we’ll have Lunney for at least one more season. Walters I’m not so sure about.

Chase is just lightning. You could turn a the players into silhouettes and I could tell which one is Chase. Dude is just on another level.

(1) I'll be thrilled for Walters if he gets the Colorado job. Would be the first Illinois coordinator since Locks to get a head job while being employed at UI (would be a million times better than Locks' job opp). (2) Would be more terrified about losing Lunney. Not that Walters isn't extremely capable, but there are other capable coaches on the defensive side that could coordinate. I don't feel the same about the offensive coaching staff. (3) Bielema has done an excellent job hiring this staff, have to give him the trust that replacing Walters or whomever would be done successfully.
