Wait...did Bardo just say "nothing but cotton"??

Did I miss a materials change memo? Is there a COVID nylon shortage?

I love Adam Miller. He just splashes 3’s.

A couple of my 1st half observations on Kofi. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with his play so far.

Kofi needs to concentrate on his free throws. Could hurt us in a close game. And he needs to recognize when he's double and tripled teamed and pass out to an open player.

Again, I'm not criticizing his play, just a couple of things that will make us a better team.
He forces things sometimes. I think it’s situations and things like that where lack of experience show through. Overall I absolutely love Kofi and his game. So happy to have a big guy who punishes others down low. However, there are things to be worked on which would elevate him.

I couldn't agree more, I love having a big like him. But I think everyone on the team can improve their games. Which really excites me.

Yes he’s young and talented but Curbelo is a turnover machine and i do not want the ball in his hands in crucial situations. He’s gotta get better.

I must admit ---- I'm a tad underwhelmed by Curbelo after 1-1/2 games (turnovers and outside shooting). Trent is clearly the better option at PG it appears. I had mistakenly assumed pre-season that Curbelo might overtake Frazier at some point in the season. I no longer think that's going to happen.

Haven’t been planted in front of TV whole time, but haven’t seen much if any Cole. Any reason why?
At this point, he's our 9th man, and it's pretty much been an 8-man rotation so far today. Our core 8 is pretty solid until we get injury updates on BBV and Hutch.

Think about how many times you’ve seen the team that’s losing by 30+ go on a late run when the winning team empties the bench and stops caring...happens all the time. Would a final score of for instance 85-58 really be so unfathomable?

Although with this start to the half it’s looking more and more like we pull away. I wonder by how many until we ease off the gas.
So 32-16 run for CSU to finish the game. No. Csu hasn't even scored 32 in 30 minutes.

Yesterday Curbelo was trying to make circus passes that work in AAU where there’s less defensive intensity. I would think PG is the toughest adjustment to ncaa speed and intensity. I expect season long growth

Give Curbelo a chance to get used to the speed of the college game and he will be fine. He makes some great passes. I don't think he will overtake Frazier as a starter, but he's going to get plenty of minutes and be a big contributer.
