We need to hit some shots and be ready to shoot it when open. If the shooters spread out and when Kofi is doubled and tripled he can't be a black hole. He needs to be able to kick it out for open looks
We might be envious of a 3-3 team in a couple weeks if this keeps up.
Plummer was our replacement for AM and he barely gets open looks..why would AM on this team be any different?
The spacing is terrible.
Is it just me or do we only run a pick and roll and hope it works?
I don't know if Curbelo is actually terrible. But he is playing terribly. That's all that matters. And the taunting technical? C'mon, that's high school stuff. He just saw it called on Cincy and he goes and does the exact same thing. That is terrible.

They are giving him and Kofi zero room to work . On several of those triple teams Im watching and all these guy's are standing outside the three point line ? WHY!!! these are not freshmen but the oldest guys on the team doing this . Cut to the rim or at least to the opposite corner and try to get open .
Its ridiculous when outside of Belo Hawkins is the only other guy on the team that can make it to the rim off the dribble
My other problem is that Kofi draws so much attention that when Plummer comes n the game run him off baseline screens to take advantage of his three and if its not there dump it down to Kofi. Just having guys stand at the three point line and try and make 25 foot post entry passes is not a viable offense

Not only do we run a pick and roll we also force the same thing over and over. Not having Ayo who can come off a pick and shoot also hurts.

The issue is Kofi's inability to pass out of the post. The game flipped when they started bringing help. He puts his head down, puts the ball done, he has no vision and gets stripped. This was an issue with him last year. The plays have been there to be made, just not making them. That's execution.
