I hope we don't let the Fighting Toothbrushes hang with us all game, and make it close down the stretch. Their roster looks mostly like white on rice in a snow storm. I haven't seen that many pale faces outside of a vampire movie. Don't know their first names, but would not be surprised if they were Biff, Oglethorpe, Chauncey, Cuthbert, and Reginald the Third.

Have to do better with offense against a zone if we want to advance in the tournament. You can't just prepare for Big Ten style of play these days.

Have to get focused at half time because it looks like we a sleep walking out there.

Jalen Cox is a taller version of Jewun Evans. Have to think Underwood is seeing the same thing from his Oklahoma State time.

Colgate was only down three at the half to MSU, but looks like they ran out of gas down the stretch. They don’t seem like too bad of a team.

Jumping onto my soapbox.....

Collectively, all referees are fair and equitable. Some call it tighter. Some let it go a little more. As I've viewed (or coached or played in) thousands of basketball games starting in 6th grade and all the way through the TTU victory by the Illini earlier this week ---- the referees are not a factor.

As a fan, who cares who the referees are?

Perhaps twice in my lifetime have the referees actually changed the outcome of a game I've seen. The 2005 National Championship Game might just be one of those two. The refs should be invisible to the casual fan and to the viewing public. And from my perspective, they nearly always are!
If you really believe that only a handful of games were deeply impacted by refereeing or that certain teams/coaches haven't seen a benefit...then I think we need to get you a better tv.

Definitely bigger. Likely HD? Maybe not black and white?
