Hoping the Illini can end this losing streak. There's a ton of talent on this roster. I still believe this Illini team can "win out" the rest of their nonconference schedule and make a run at the NCAA tournament. It starts with the players bringing toughness and togetherness to every game and beating FSU today.

PG play is bad. Play Lucas more. What confuses me is that Groce said that he thought Lucas was one of the best PG in the country when he signed. If that is true he should be getting a ton of pt.

Being injured put him behind on getting ready for the season, hopefully his minutes start to increase though.

Not confident, but a win today could go a long way w/ confidence and would look good on the resume.

A win today would turn this from a 3-alarm dumpster fire to a 1-alarm dumpster fire.

But your post is still true. =)

Yeah I'd like to see JCL starting. This lineup could do a good job of spacing the floor though, but if we just pass around the perimeter again we're toast. We need some guys making cuts and penetrating the defense.

Abrams with a 3. His good shooting continues.

That has been a nice surprise this year for me. I don't remember him shooting it like this a couple of years ago. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly?

The least Tate could do is move not stand behind the three point line the entire possession.

It's five all at the under 16. Hill is still cold from the field.

I looked at numbers pertaining to this discussion in another thread. Tracy is shooting video game numbers at this point, but his average for Junior and Sophomore seasons was 27%. He is currently shooting 64% from long on 17 attempts. Earlier this season that number was 80-something. Obviously, that number is going to continue to drop but equally as obvious is that he has clearly improved his shooting. =)

EDIT: TJL in.

At this point yesterday I think it was 20-11 and getting bad. At least we are still in it.
