Long time reader, first post now, I have to get this out... I was on the Groce bandwagon for a long time, but it seems that this team is getting worse and worse the more they play Groce's style of offense... dribble around for 20 seconds, wait for the defense to get set and then force a shot... seen it a million times... ball was moving when Tejon was in, I guess Groce hasn't had enough time to get that out yet - probably why he's not playing more... I'm done watching this crap, every team has its strengths and weaknesses, but you cannot win if the coaching staff is setting you up to lose... dribbling for 25 seconds and taking jump shots is a recipe for losing teams.

The disparity in talent is obvious. Isaac is a future lottery pick (composite #8 player in 2016), Bacon is a first round talent, and XRM will probably be drafted. Those three would all be the best player on our team. Ojo will probably get an NBA look. Forrest and Mann might, as well.

Malcolm would probably start for FSU and Black would get some minutes. Everyone else would be outside the rotation. The last two games have really helped to provide perspective on this team's talent level.

Edit: Literally the only positives from this game are that Black is a horse and Lucas is FINALLY going to provide us with a B1G caliber PG. He's the real deal.

TJL was the bright spot today. I hope he gets the start vs JT next game.

True. The bigger question is how this team lost to Temple. They are clearly more talented than our Illini.

Bogus Question... sorry.... but I've heard this bogus excuse too many times...
Here's a serious question for you: Do you want to continue losing games, regardless of how many stars your recruits have?

I didn't mean it should factor into the decision I'm just curious what it does to the roster... personally I think groce is under performing. I actually think the roster is decent.... others disagree though

Wow, Malcolm looked lost on that possession. What in the world is our offensive strategy? Dribble, dribble, dribble...

Way, way too much dribbling by most of ballhandlers. Worse part about that. is Lucas seems to be the only guy who (at least occasionally) is going anyplace with the ball.

I think that is true, but our effort and focus has been very bad the last two games and 3 minutes of Winthrop. Bad for a senior led team.

To top it off a TO with 19.4 seconds left...great coaching strategy.
