I just don’t see a developing offense at all, can see the future w the def, but O is terrible

To be fair. Eveytie the announcers talk about a Hoosier it’s “5th year senior”. Our freshman are fighting guys 5 years older than them

That's our rallying cry this year, isn't it?
Last year was "it's Lovie's first year".
The year before "Cubit's an intern"
The year before that "too many JuCo players"
Before that "Becknan can't recruit"
Before that "Zook can't coach"
Before that "the offensive schemes don't make sense"
Before that...

You get the idea.

At some point, we just need to realize that we are what we are. An academic school that offers football.

We have the second largest academic library in the country, behind only Harvard. Library of Congress and New York City library are bigger too. Compare that to indiana’s book.

Agreed. We're just as bad as we were at the beginning of the season and McGee hasn't given us any reason to believe he can coach.

I'm here in the stands. Offense is rough to watch. Bleh. Nothing to cheer for.

Say what you want about War Chant being a wet blanket on third downs. It pales in comparison to the deathly silence that befalls this place now on 3rd downs.

I love Illinois. But I don't know why anyone would go sit the cold to watch this team. So awful. I gotta put all my trust in Lovie and Whitman because if they don't get this turned around, we don't have a ton of options or hope. We got an AD willing to make the effort and spend and a big name coach. If this doesn't get it done and turn things around, it isn't happening and we are Kansas.
It really has almost gotten to the point of me questioning why we maintain the program at all.

They gotta come up with something. Silence is weird.

I'm also here in the SEZ. That TD warmed me up a bit. At least there was something to cheer about today.
