Yeah, I know he's hurt and also sleep deprived, but he's been making some really bad decisions when he gets deep in the lane and he's covered, putting up ugly shots when he needs to recognize that it's not there and kick it back out

Iowa's passing and movement IS impressive. Crisp decisive passes to cutters. We could be getting beat a lot worse. Our defense is not playing terrible, yes there have been a couple of lapses but they're not getting a lot of uncontested shots. They're just pretty damn good.

Not sure how I should feel right now. Iowa is really good, and Illinois down by single digits at half. That said, our 3pt shooting has been good. But I don't think we've looked very good.

Idk. This is weird.

My impression is that when KN gets hurt, or when he goes without sleep, his game really suffers. He still moves well with the ball, but his shots always seem to be a bit off. When he is fresh, he is great, but he is definitely not fresh lately,

it seems like we are making more of a concerted effort to not shoot 35 3's a game/drive to the basket.. the problem of course being that we can't finish at the rim/we are the worst team inside the arc that I can remember

6/23 on 2's, 5/9 on 3's

give me MORE 3's

Iowa is good because even when they don't shoot well they manufacture points. Gessel is always attacking and they fight for offensive boards. Pretty much the opposite of Illinois. Have we ever been good at finishing under Groce? It seems like we always miss bunnies and leave points on the court. Lots of that could be due to lack of athletes as well.

So I would love to actually get to see the hoop family commercial...LOL I always get like the first 3 words then it goes to the blue btn screen. And cool aid or alcohol or whatever you wanna call it. Guys I think we actually have a shot. I think they are off right now. THat may change in second half but I think we are going to make it a game and a possible win.
