Clearly a foul when you hit a guy across the arm when he's shooting a layup. Come on Rafftery!
Solid first half! We played great offense and they hit some tough shots. Need to come out aggressive on defense

Illinois only 2 turnovers for the half. Excellent. And only gave up 1 offensive rebound on 16 missed Iowa shots. You keep doing that we should win this game easily.

I am really happy with the TOs.
Illini playing simply good basketball on both ends. Iowa shooting lights out down by 8. The more they play, the more the Illini standard of play becomes set at a higher level than we saw in 2020. Hope that mindset and confidence becomes permanent. Iowa sure has great shooters but their lack of defense is the difference..plus willingness to get into the paint and fight for the bloody rebounds. Illini have 4 turnovers which is huge....and could be a catalyst for raising their level of play to unbeatable. Free throws will likely always be the Achilles Heel.
