Sadly, you aren't lying. Maybe he meant if you add everyone he guards total points, it would get to 1500.
I like Luke and he has a place here, but not major minutes and certainly not defensively end of games.

Sorry, no. When the shots are coming inside 10 feet, decent players make those shots.

We're allowing 62% shooting and we've taken 17 threes. We get nothing going to the basket. We can't stop back cuts(again), can't stop penetration (again)....they've made only 3 threes and 4 free throws and they put up 43. That's terrible.

I said before the game that I'm going to keep an eye on the guards positions. We've been outscored 20-7

Perkins - 11 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

Wouldn’t say we played that bad of defense. Aside from last play. This is what Iowa does. Iowa is just as good on offense as we are. They are making contested shots. They’re not killings us at rim like PSU and NU did. They’re making 18 ft jumpers.

The clock did seem off on that last play, but if I remember correctly we had 31.6 when we started our last possession and then after the shot clock there was 1.0, so maybe evens out.

Both teams with 6 turns. Not good and Iowa likes the pace and will not let us play booty ball. Tough second half to come if they continue at 60% shooting.

Thought I would have seen a different level of energy at home but more complaining and poor execution at the end of the half. Shooting 62% from the field is just not acceptable. Wow!
