Ok. See you at 10:30 PM CT regardless of outcome. You know what, I'm in. A loss tonight and I'm out until Sunday. It's better for everybody.

Staying away from the game thread can be a big help. But if we lose, the postgame thread will be pretty grim...If we lose I'm retiring from the Loyalty Board for the sake of my sanity...
Until I get the info itch around Saturday before the Michigan game lol

Win, or die trying.

This is my takeaway. If they lose this game, these players have quit or their confidence is broken beyond repair. I hope that's not the discussion after because that's as much on the players as the coach. Everyone involved has to have heart.Tonight will show what kind of mental state the Illini are in. An ugly loss and players have quit. A solid win and maybe health (physical and mental) is on the mend. A nail biter? Who knows.
My head knows this but my heart ultimately wins out. I don't have anyone here ( in KY) to watch with. It's nice to "watch" with everyone on Loyalty. (When we're playing well anyway)Staying away from the game thread can be a big help. But if we lose, the postgame thread will be pretty grim...
Seldom does this happen, but I actually woke up this morning after dreaming about this game. It was a back/forth high-scoring affair, and Iowa pulled away in the last 5 minutes. That final score was:Don't know which Illini team shows up tonight. Really..... wouldn't be surprised of a blowout for either side.
You can't be serious with the second score prediction. If that happened, every player should lose their scholarship, every coach should be fired immediately and all of the fans should have their money refunded.Seldom does this happen, but I actually woke up this morning after dreaming about this game. Iowa 96
Illini 85
Now conscious and back to my REALIST self, I don't think it will actually be that close. We're in a really, really bad funk. Iowa shoots 55% from the floor:
Iowa 102
Illini 74
Radio is insinuating WR may be starting over BH.
If that happens, who is going to score coming off the bench? It seems great in theory.....until you have to sub.
