Brad liked that one. Z good decision to kick it out, ball movement, Humrichous drive to the hoop.

I have to think its somewhat difficult to play 40 mins at a high level against this kind of opponent. Not sure how much there will be to gather at the end of this game.

The 3 point makes do look VERY NICE!!!
Unless your Ohio state and you got to score 120 to beat a nobody you gave up 102

Must be really embarrassing for all 12 Jackson state basketball fans tonight

I know Jackson State is the best level competition, but . . .

I'm not seeing any "slow and unathletic" Illini in this game.

Did I miss it?

Reading this right as Jakstys attempted to drive to the basket was fun.

Could Mirk be a Morez upgrade after all?
At the moment it appears like a toss-up. Morez has taken two threes tonight and missed both....but he has also hit all 10 of his two pt. attempts. Surprisingly, only two boards when I last checked the box. He has muscled up a bit and seems to be a Kofi type bull inside. The fact that he is 10 for 10 with only two boards would seem to indicate that he is being fed the ball in the offense....something that seldom happened last year. He is likely a better fit for Michigan as Mirk is for Illinois.

Well you definitely need to make the open ones but we shot 55% in the first half i dont think you can maintain that high of percentage but if we can make 40% of 3s this season we should be able to play with or beat anybody

Ben looking good and playing in the rhythm of the game, not forcing up bad shots and making unforced errors this game. If that development continues, he will be fun to watch and quiet the doubters from last season. I wish him all the best.
Calling us doubters seems a little strange when he has openly admitted to the media in multiple interviews that he wasn't ready for the adjustment last year.
