That permitted defense from Curbelo leaves a lot to be desired… gotta close out better than that

And they will continue to do that until Brad understands we aren’t getting beat on the three point line. We are getting beat in the paint, go zone. I can’t stand watching another one of our guards go over a screen and getting beat. I get it, lead them into Kofi who might get a block but he isn’t doing that. Make the change.
Loyola did this to us about seven thousand times

If that’s what we drew up….yikes. Why not put Plummer back in and run him off a screen?? Underwood’s decisions have been brutal.

I don’t get Plummer getting hot, then we sit him.
He came in and did exactly what we needed him to do - a spark and quick points.

I think he’ll be most effective in short bursts, especially with his defense. He should be ready to go out and do the same in the 2nd and get us this W!

I don’t know how to explain it but it’s like we aren’t running the right offense for our personnel. It’s like trying to play checkers with chess pieces. You’re not gonna win games that way.

I do not claim to know what the RIGHT offense is, but it doesn’t seem like this is it.

It seems pretty clear that this team is going to take a while to get their timing and rhythm in sync unfortunately. Looks like everyone is second guessing themselves.

how many fast break points have we had in the last 2.5 games?

Well, I'd say that was pretty underwhelming. I just don't feel great about any of the guards. The ball just sticks too much. No flow. Also, not seeing that suffocating defense, which leads to run outs and "easy" buckets.

The effort looks to be much better.

It sure hasn’t worked for Matt Navy’s offense.
