Jackson is unique and it may not be a fair comparison, but Battle was a big that could bang down low, grab boards and bring the rim down

Sure, but we're talking 6'6'' vs a 7 footer with a ridiculous wingspan.

Sparty cannot go very far in the tourney with all the turnovers. Over 14 a game for the season and 25 tonight. Athletic teams will challenge. Heck, OSU and Purdue will challenge them big time.

60%+ thought this was a Tourney team before the season (181 votes)

“I think we should be an NCAA Tournament team next year,” Underwood told FanRag Sports’ Jon Rothstein on the College Hoops Today Podcast published Monday. “I like our pieces and I like our toughness and grit.
“I think Mark Smith, who we just signed, has a chance to be one of the best freshmen in the country. We should be right there in the middle [of] things in the Big Ten.”

I've only watched MSU a couple of times this year, but I don't think they've had an opponent make them work this hard yet.

This drives me crazy when other teams do it...I love it now. Kind of like Dennis Rodman playing for the Bulls.

Boy if they didn't have 20 pts on dunks and another 15 in lay ups we might be in this game.

Yea, I get it dude. But I would kill for a Kenny Battle on this team. And I'm pretty sure he could hold his own against Jackson

Sure, but Shaun Pruitt could bang down low too and is a bad comparison. 6’11” tall with a 7’4” wingspan. Able to put the ball on the floor a little bit, shoots 44.5% from beyond the arc...Jackson is something else
