Against all logic and common sense I see us winning against a disinterested msu team. 69-65.

I also thought the Vikings would win easily, so what do I know?

The Illini are 0-for-nothing in Big 10 play worst start in over 60 years. (FACT CHECK ?)

I have looked at this game inside and out and for the life of me I cannot see how Illinois pulls off an upset-let alone covering.
State is just to big inside for Illinois they should own the paint green the whole game.

If Wisconsin can bury Illinois by 25 I see no reason why Michigan State cant.

Little Johnny eighth place beat them last year at home. Underwood should be able to do the same.

I have a feeling a handful here are going to get one hell of a wake up call on just how far superior MSU roster is than ours.

Not that U of I can’t pull off one of the biggest upsets if the year if everything possible goes our way, but MSU is sickly loaded, balanced, and well coached.

Here's how. Everyone plays their best game at the same time. We get good Leron, Nebraska Finke, last 6 games Trent, Northwestern Alstork, early season AJ & Mark, etc. Would be shocking, but most big upsets are.

Just feed it to Leron all night. I mean, why not? Let him foul out the entire MSU front line. He can do it.

And MSU has not had to do anything but dunk or shoot layups, herein is where size shows up. Not always rebounds, but points in paint, or % of shots taken in the paint vs outside

Frazier jab step is filthy. If he ever dials in as a ~40% shooter from 3, he's gonna be unstoppable.
