If Illini can somehow shut down the back door lobs, they are playing defense well enough to win. Love what Lucas brings to the defense...so important to have that extra banshee causing havoc.

Valentine only one calling anything our way. Every other whistle has went against us.
This team's success is directly related to the energy they expend...more on defense than offense. With a ten man rotation, it should not be a problem to maintain this level.....but it has been a 15 to 20 minutes thing so far this season.

Gotta say, even though we are clearly outmatched talent-wise, I love the energy. However, how many backdoor alley-oops do you think we'll see with Finke left behind and looking up?
Incredible start to this game, as well, if not better start than the Missouri game, MSU just much better than Mizzou.
