Need to have a big 3rd quarter as we will not have the wind with us in the 4th. A little more creativity would be nice on offense this half.

For the most part we have an “Audience” not a self motivated crowd!

I‘m an optimistic cynic, and Illinois football really tests my optimism. I haven’t gotten over Nick Bell. 😫

Up and down 1st half..............

The Good.....................

TDV was 11-15 ....................TD pass to IW.........160 + yds passing
IW with a great run after the catch for the TD................
CB has over 60 + yds rushing ..............did a great job blocking on the 60 TD by IW...............
PB with some good catches for 1st down's
SB with a pick on the first play of the game

The Average......................

pass rush is nothing to write home about today......Radio MO said best OL we will see so far this year.......
D looks about a 1/2 step slower than normal to me........
short Illini punt changed field position somewhat....................

The Below Average....................

Not taking the FG on 4th & 2 early in first half.......................I get the mindset but points are points and we lost on a similar decision against punchface..
CB fumble middle 2nd qtr as we were driving good ..............................
Taz , I think , is injured and doubtful......hope to see him in the 2nd half.......................
B1G refs.............It doesn't matter if it's BB or FB .....just some head scratcher calls........I don't think I have ever seen a team decline a penalty then almost a minute later after we send the FG team out , they change their mind........................Is that legal ??


If we make the halftime adjustments as we have all season , then we can close this game out ..............Gotta play Illini FB this half...............

We need another 2nd half dominant eruptus from the FIFD and use the wind to our advantage..........

We need to control the game and the clock by running the ball all over the field like we have all year long. Also stop Thorne from making key throws.
