Not as silly as you’d think. IU and PU fans “hate each other,” but they’re romantically obsessed with their rivalry and their state. In the same way Kevin Warren had Juwan’s back 110% when we had a legitimate complaint regarding the title last year, there’s a weird “Strange Bedfellows” fraternal connection between rivals like that. Very bizarre, but I think OSU/Michigan people think they’re so much better than the rest of us that they subconsciously take each other’s side an odd amount of time. Just message board anecdotes.
As a native of Columbus I have never found that to be the case. ;)

That ball where Hawkins was bending over trying to find it and Michigan dove, kicked and threed was the most egregious example of our effort.
At least Hawk was going for it. And he had just made a tremendous defensive stand. I was more disappointed that DMW was standing right there playing the role of spectator. Expecting a much better effort next half.

I hope we initiate our offense more quickly, cut, screen, and focus more this half. Trent dribbling in one spot for 5 to 10 seconds 30 feet out is playing into Michigan's hands. Let's go!

This guy on the halftime show doesn't actually know anything about our team, does he?

His 3 things Michigan did well:
1) Slowed the game down, which makes us uncomfortable. (We are generally not a super fast team.)

2) Kept us from getting out in transition. (Fair enough, but we aren't a team that relies much on transition so far.)

3) Kept Kofi under control. (He's got 12 pts but only 3 rebounds, so... somewhat?)

We've got the FS1 C team tonight.
I have been totally unimpressed by most FS1 games I have watched this year - ours or others. Their coverage frequently seems to be ill-informed and distracted.

Why are we not running a zone offense?

And now their little sound bite about our game before the commercial was "Moussa Diabate: 4 pts, 1 rebound." Because that's the highlight. He's the NPOY candidate on the floor right now.

We already won tonight? Guess someone should tell Michigan to go ahead and get on the bus. This has been embarrassing. Zero hustle zero heart.
And we haven't played a top team yet in the BIG or a good top ranked team this year. We need to win these type of games convincingly. I know it is difficult to have focus and intensity every game, but I get the feeling this team believes they can turn it on any time they want. Not impressed with the game effort for the last 3 games.

Best part of that halftime summary was the guy sitting in the middle go brain dead mid sentence and stop talking. At first I thought it was a audio issue, until his partner covered for him lol
