Because they are. We are not fast or really athletic lol. We are skilled. This game was always going to come down to what we shoot from 3. Its not going well.
If we don’t decisively win the rebounding battle, Michigan can run away with this game. 7 Michigan offensive boards in the 1st half.
Our guys are slower to the ball than are their guys. Rebounds, loose balls, picking up cutters, et cetera.
Literally his only bad game was Michigan State.
They clearly are. And stronger and more relentless, hungrier, more energetic….

He's got put his shoulder into defenders at the rim and draw fouls fouls instead of going up weak. But mostly he's turning it over before he gets there.
Andrej can’t shoot well, and he’s not going to get points driving against a team this big. Awful matchup for him.

Skill is nice... but this is why I've always wanted Underwood to focus on tough, athletic, physical players. Our skill is just getting completely owned physically. This feels like when we played Houston in the tournament years ago.. Just completely outmatched
I've only watched two games this season where it felt like we had no chance to win.. Uconn and tonight... Uconn we were still figuring things out. Sucks to be at the end of the season and the eye test is that the team we are playing at home is head and shoulders better than us.

Plain and simple, Michigan is a very good team, and we aren't playing well, which is what happens when a couple guys are just complete no shows. That said, we're only down 7, and that was really almost solely on the backs of Kylan and Mirk. We need Andrej and Tomi to snort some ginger or something in the locker room and wake up. And we could really use some 2nd half Keaton. Just need us to show up this 2nd half and we can win this.

We're rebounding with them. But 3-13 from 3 and 7 turnovers is killing us. Better get hot in a hurry.

Everytime he drives there’s 2 guys open at the 3 point line. Defense is gonna keep collapsing more until he proves that point otherwise
Good summary - we win with offensive rebounds... we don't have many of those. Our two best players are Mirk and Boswell. Hummer is good off the bench. We need to get Andrej the ball quicker and play zone when Z is in the game. This a good test. Let's see what we are made of.
???? We have 15,000 going absolutely bananas, in a national TV game vs the #3 ranked team in the country, after blowing a 23 point lead in the game prior.
We want it as much as they do, but they're fully loaded and ready for a Natty run. Let's see if we can pull something off in the second half. Need to hit 3's at a high rate.
