Game Thread: Illinois vs Minnesota

Love Hawk and RJ's game in the first half. Hawk putting some arc on his shot rather than heaving line drives. RJ...if you do not have the game to be MJ or Curry...become Ty and be aggressive at both ends without the 3 ball. That is pretty good.

Did not like letting MInny back in the game, but just keep playing with patience and competence.

RJ is having a great rebounding game. He wants the ball. However watching him on offense he knows the ball isn’t coming to him.

I don't know if it's fair at this point to expect RJ to suddenly rediscover his outside shot, but man, he is playing great in all other facets of the game. He could really be a difference maker down the stretch if he could become any sort of offensive threat again.

He looks like he's sick to me tonight. Hopefully somebody else gets hot in the second half.

I'm guessing he is still wore out from Saturday, which means he'll be even more lethargic Thursday. TSJ needs to be ready Thursday.

Nice pass out by Dain for the look from Epps. Now let’s just build on this lead! Gophers made some tough 2s in the first half let’s stay on them. I doubt they shoot like that again

One of the pet peeves I have with this team is they are slow getting to the floor for loose balls
